We call this core Intellicore, it is made of the Hevea tree, one of the fastest growing tropical timbers in the world. The Hevea Tree produces latex for thirty five years and has historically been disposed of after it stops producing latex. Intellicore is not only a green building product, it also reduces noise transmission above and below the floor and substantially reduces cupping and warping due to the presence of moisture.
